Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the One Plus Painting and Powerwash website and services. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the provision of our painting and powerwashing services. By requesting a quote, scheduling work, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

One Plus Painting and Powerwash (“Company,” “we,” “us”) provides residential and commercial painting and powerwash services in and around the Raleigh, NC area (Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Hillsborough, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Raleigh, and surrounding communities).

2. Estimates, Quotes & Acceptance

All estimates or quotes provided are based on the information available at the time and are valid for the period specified in the quote (if any).

A written estimate is recommended and may include a deposit requirement. Acceptance of an estimate may require a signed work agreement or deposit.

Additional work not included in the original estimate will be billed separately.

3. Scheduling & Access

You are responsible for providing access to the property at scheduled times. If we cannot access the property as scheduled, rescheduling fees may apply.

Homeowners should remove or secure small personal items. We will move furniture as agreed, but the homeowner is responsible for small, valuable, or fragile items.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified on your estimate or service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the job.

We accept the payment methods listed on the invoice. A late fee may be applied to overdue balances.

For projects requiring materials, a deposit may be required to cover initial material costs.

5. Warranties, Guarantees & Limitations

We guarantee workmanship consistent with our industry standards. Our standard workmanship warranty is 30 days from completion unless otherwise specified. Extended warranties, if offered, will be detailed in writing.

Warranties do not cover: issues arising from natural wear and tear, subsequent third-party modifications, homeowner negligence, pre-existing structural issues, or color fading caused by environmental exposure beyond normal expectations.

Materials made by third parties carry the manufacturer’s warranty; we will assist in warranty claims but are not the guarantor of manufacturer performance.

6. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation or rescheduling by the customer may be subject to fees if within a specified period of the scheduled start date, or if materials have already been purchased.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule work due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly.

7. Site Conditions & Preparation

Customers must disclose known hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold) before work begins. Undisclosed hazardous conditions may require additional services and costs.

For properties built before 1978, federal law requires disclosure of potential lead-based paint hazards. Special handling and testing may be required.

8. Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from or related to services provided is limited to the total amount paid to us for the specific job.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your negligence.

9. Intellectual Property

Content on our website (text, images, logos) is our property or used with permission. You may not reproduce or use our copyrighted materials without permission.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

For disputes, parties will first attempt to resolve the matter informally. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (weather, acts of God, strikes, governmental acts, or other causes).

12. Third-Party Links & Services

We may use or link to third-party providers (suppliers, subcontractors, or online services). We are not responsible for third-party terms or performance.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The current version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
